We are hiring!

In-home non-medical caregivers assist seniors, people with disabilities, and individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses.  In other words, they help those facing physical and/or mental challenges live more fulfilling, independent lives in their homes and communities.

No experience? No worries! You bring a warm heart, integrity, and a wiliness to learn and we’ll give you the tools to be a fantastic caregiver plus help you develop the skills that you can use to further your career.

Report Work Injury
All staff members are required to report ALL workplace injuries. Call 911 if needed then update CGAK’s safety officer as soon as it is safe to do so.

Training

CPR/First aid

All CGAK staff are required to be CPR/First aid trained.

Caregiver training

All CGAK caregivers are required to complete mandatory training.

Mandated Reporter Training

All CDAK staff are required to complete mandated reporter training.

State of Alaska Senior and Disability training

Training for PCS recipients- Your PCA and You and Critical Incident Reporting (CIR) training
